MAGIC connects aspiring graduate students with friendly faculty and graduate student mentors. They can help you explore whether grad school is right for you, find research experience, and prepare your applications.

We especially welcome students from underrepresented and historically marginalized groups and first-generation college students. You don’t need to be a UConn student, and you don’t need to have decided to apply yet.

To be matched with a mentor this fall, fill out this brief sign-up form (~5 min) by Friday October 9th. We aim to send matches by mid-October.

Interested in mentoring? Faculty, postdocs, and graduate students are welcome to sign up using the same form, whether or not you’re currently affiliated with UConn. We especially need mentors in clinical psychology.
