Everyone who requested a one-on-one match should now have received one! Mentees can still ALSO use the online mentoring platform (Husky Mentor Network) to reach out directly to other MAGIC mentors for advice. After logging in (here), Just click on “Advisors” on the left and then use the search box to find a mentor in the area you are interested in. You can also get a quick view of many of our mentors on the “Our Mentors” tab at the top of this page. Enjoy your chats!

Mentoring platform remains available!
Update! The online mentoring platform (Husky Mentor Network) that the MAGIC program has been using will remain available at least until the end of 2022 (possibly longer).
There are lots of mentors on the platform who would be delighted to talk with you! As a reminder, here is an intro to using the online mentoring platform, and here is a recording of general information about applying to PhD programs in Psychology/ Cognitive Science/ related areas. If you’re not sure exactly what to talk about, check out what should I ask mentors? and meeting tips for mentees.
There are also lots of other resources on applying to grad school available on our resources page! And feel free to join our Slack channel to ask questions!
And if you indicated interest in being introduced to a specific mentor, stay tuned! We’ll be sending introduction emails very soon — sorry for the delay! 🙂

The mentoring platform has a new landing page
Firsthand, the company behind our mentoring platform, made some changes earlier this month. The landing page has changed, but you can still access all of our mentors by clicking on the “Advisors” (icon of person) on the left sidebar. Safari users, however, may need to allow pop-ups to access the advisors page.
